Is Cloud Guard really free?
Yes, 100% free. There are no premium plans, no hidden fees, and no storage limits. Cloud Guard is and always will be completely free to use.
How is unlimited storage possible?
Cloud Guard uses Telegram's infrastructure as the storage backend. Your encrypted files are stored in a private Telegram channel, which provides unlimited storage capacity at no cost.
Is my data really private?
Absolutely. Cloud Guard uses a zero-knowledge architecture with AES-256-GCM encryption. Your files are encrypted on your device before they are uploaded. We never have access to your encryption keys or your data — nobody does except you.
Do I need a Telegram account?
No. Cloud Guard handles all Telegram interactions behind the scenes through a secure backend. You only need a Cloud Guard account (Google sign-in or email).
What file types are supported?
All file types are supported — photos, videos, documents, PDFs, archives, APKs, and any other file. There are no restrictions on file types or file sizes.
How does auto-backup work?
When auto-backup is enabled, Cloud Guard monitors your camera roll and media folders. New photos and videos are automatically encrypted and uploaded in the background — even when the app is closed.
Can I access my files from another device?
Yes. Sign in to your Cloud Guard account on any supported device and your files will be available. Files are downloaded and decrypted on-demand on the new device.
What happens if I lose my phone?
Your files are safe in the cloud. Simply install Cloud Guard on a new device, sign in with the same account, and all your files will be there. Encryption keys are derived from your account credentials.
Is Cloud Guard available on iOS?
Cloud Guard is currently available on Android. iOS and Web versions are in development and coming soon.
How do I delete my account and data?
Go to Settings → Account → Delete Account. This will permanently delete your account and all associated encrypted files from our servers. This action cannot be undone.
